This mala is American made. It is constructed in a mindful, meditative manner with the traditional 27 beads, guru bead, and 2 marker beads. The beads are 8mm rainbow flourite. is one of my favorites to work with. The stone itself has a silky feel when they are handled. I also like the pastel variations of purple, blue, green, and sometimes pink. So delicate looking. The marker beads and the guru bead are cherry quartz. Cherry quartz is not a natural stone, it is dyed glass. They are accented by brass plate spacer beads. The beads are strung on hand knotted cotton and should resist breakage. If it should break within 6 months of purchase, the mala may be returned to me for re-stringing at no charge, buyer pays shipping. This particular mala has a tassel made from imitation silk.
