This mala is American made. It is constructed in a mindful, meditative manner with the traditional 27 beads, guru bead, and 2 marker beads. The beads are 6mm magnesite or yellow turquoise. It is a natural stone of black/gray and various amounts of yellow. The marker beads are Afghan lapis. Lapis is the color of the Medicine Buddha's skin.  They are accented with base metal spacer beads.  The beads are strung on hand knotted cotton and should resist breakage. If it should break within 6 months of purchase, the mala may be returned to me for re-stringing at no charge, buyer pays shipping. This particular mala has a tassel made from imitation silk.
